Modern Elegance in the Country

This large nearly 13,000 sq ft estate located in Scarsdale, NY, just north of Manhattan and was purchased to be the family’s full time residence after years of living full-time in New York City. Architecturally the goal was to make this early 2000’s build feel like it had been around for 100 years. For the furnishings, the clients wanted a home that felt formal and for elegant entertaining while still be family friendly for their everyday lifestyle.

The mix of new heirloom quality pieces paired with antique and vintage modern furniture, lighting and textiles, makes this home feel both modern and timeless. The palette is light and neutral focusing on textures and interesting finishes.
